Dating from 1770, it was originally a warehouse and workshop, but was damaged by fire in 1985 and converted into flats. The building is in sandstone with a stone-slate roof, and has an L-shaped plan. There are three storeys, and a central loading slot that is flanked by windows. The ground floor windows have tracery forming lozenges and Gothick heads; the upper floor windows are divided into small panes. To the right of the loading slot are the brackets of a former crane.

I started making my grocery list this morning, and then got busy with work. I can tell it is Friday afternoon now, because my list seems complete!

BEEJU product list from 1952-1953 ahowing the plastic lorries available- all were HO scale and came in various colours (and some with friction drive). Gives me something to look out for!
