"Mere color, unspoiled by meaning, and unallied with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways."
Oscar Wilde
Capturing the activity of bubble solution just before it pops is a great way to lose track of time. It's easier to use a manual focus, as the frantic movements of the thinning liquid create a whirlwind of activity.
I just discovered this Youtube link if you are interested in macro bubble discoveries...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlARLHmFnA4

An artistic interpretation of 2 cygnets gliding gracefully on crystal clear water at the local pond. My dark phase continues....
for "Macro Mondays" theme is "Liquid"!
The Pond is the World,
Your Heart is the Pebble,
Drop a pebble in a still pond and watch the ripple travel out in an ever expanding ring
with every Heartbeat......

One of the lakes I hiked around in the Jösser Bruch, a wildlife sanctuary near Windheim, Ostwestfalen, Germany
Surfer waiting for just the right wave. The sky tones made the water look like mercury. Would have loved to been on that board. Capturing the image was my way of catching the wave.....
A wonderful memory of a walk around the Pale di San Martino group. Globeflowers were everywhere , like yellow drumsticks. We had two days doing this circuit, one on foot and one with an e-bike group from Chieri. Both were wonderful days , just like Liquid sugar, by Maps.
Dubbele Stoneysluis - Amersfoort (The Netherlands)
Double stone lock (sliding weir) over the river Eem. Designed in 1909 by the Dutch architect W.Chr. Jansen.
The building (with red shutters) is a museum named "De Katoendrukkerij", namely "The Cotton Printery", located in a former water mill named "De Volmolen" (built in 1645) since 2020.
In the 17th century, the textile industry provided financial security for the residents of Amersfoort. Actually, the first cotton printery in Europe was established in Amersfoort. At that time, cotton sheets and cloths were printed with handmade wooden stamps.
After 3 weeks of flooding I had the chance to hike around River Weser. In our area 2023 has been a very wet year with 1200mm of rain in 12 months. Porta Westfalica, Ostwestfalen, Germany
The National Theatre
in Prague is known as the Alma Mater of Czech opera, and as the national monument of Czech history and art.
The National Theatre belongs to the most important Czech cultural institutions, with a rich artistic tradition which was created and maintained by the most distinguished personalities in Czech society.
This tradition helped to preserve and develop the most important features of the nation–the Czech language and a sense for a Czech musical and dramatic way of thinking.
