Lima adalah kota di gurun pasir terbesar kedua setelah Kairo. Kota ini menjadi hub bagi negara di Amerika Selatan selain Chile. Lima juga kota yang tak pernah hujan.
Menariknya Lima karena dia berada di tepi Samudera Pasifik. Dari kota ini bisa langsung menikmati samudera luas dari tebing-tebing di pinggir kota. Dari tebing itu pula tiap hari ada paragliding.
Ramahnya kota bisa dinikmati pula dengan lebarnya jalur untuk pejalan kaki dan pengguna sepeda terutama di jalan-jalan besar di tengah ibu kota Peru ini.
Dan jangan lupa, Lima adalah kota dengan sisa-sisa bangunan kolonial yang tetap menggoda.
