Taken in the Hayden Library. A large chunk of the books were removed to be placed elsewhere and to be reorganized. The books in the far background through the stacks looked cool to me so I snapped this shot. I should really do something more interesting with the light but meh.

It does get you thinking though, I have no idea what was in this area of the stacks, and if nobody replaced them I would never know. How is it to just remove information and rewrite history...

Our weekly fishing adventure took us to Derrick's pond this morning. The fish were biting slowly and the wind tried to have its way with the canoe, but I saw plenty to photograph nonetheless. Here the sun was reflecting off the water and illuminating the underside of the decking, and the decking was casting a toothy shadow on the dock's vertical frame.
