Yes. Lightrail tracks, but it was raining and at dusk. Let's see some senor portraits in the rain without the tracks heading to the center of the photo.

On the way home from work @ 10:00 pm. Later, after getting off downtown, a bike shortcut via 10th and Everett to catch a earlier Yellow Line train at Old Town/Chinatown had me at home in North Portland from Beaverton in 45 minutes. Not bad...

A few weeks ago the photochallenge was "signs". I was planning on doing a shot of a trolley sign with the light rail passing through, however, I didn't really find a good spot to do that.

 

While walking around downtown San Jose, I found a pretty good spot where I can set up and wait. The first shot I took had the light rail really blurry so I increased the shutter speed for the second shot. I'm not sure if this is exactly what I was looking for, but it's a good start.

 

I would have stuck around for a third try but the light was fading.
