The lightposts along the coast all had freezes on them. Either a boat wheel or a starfish. This just looked really neat.
Telegraph pole and streetlight against the evenings storm clouds. I took a couple with different aspects of the shot lined up with the edge of the photo.
There are three different elements of light here: the shadows on the banners, the light itself, and the bright sky.
I managed to shred TWO of my tires today. That was a first for me.
They're doing work on Kingshighway. They've removed the normal road surface, which means the manhole covers are poking up. Apparently they're poking up in a way that's absolutely deadly to Prius tires. While I was waiting for my tow truck driver, I saw another couple go and take a picture of a different one of the manhole covers and then go sit in their car for a long time, so I'm guessing same thing happened to them.
Reminds me of the lightpost in the woods in the book The Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe.
