Not too many good photos for the day. The original of this photo was definitely NO good so I had to adjust it quite a bit (just the contrast) to make it more interesting. Oh lightpost, light the way!

At the corner of Chasewood Dr and Metric Blvd there's a street light which always has these bugs buzzing around it. I wanted to capture the bugs in flight, and have been experimenting with the right speed for them. I like the results so far.

The lightposts along the coast all had freezes on them. Either a boat wheel or a starfish. This just looked really neat.

It may have been knocked over by Hurricane Frances, but this light post still works.

I managed to shred TWO of my tires today. That was a first for me.

They're doing work on Kingshighway. They've removed the normal road surface, which means the manhole covers are poking up. Apparently they're poking up in a way that's absolutely deadly to Prius tires. While I was waiting for my tow truck driver, I saw another couple go and take a picture of a different one of the manhole covers and then go sit in their car for a long time, so I'm guessing same thing happened to them.

This New York lightpost "face" seems to perhaps be wearing a hat and glasses, and has a little, tiny mustache!

A beautiful sunset greats us on our way back to Houston. I never saw the clouds like that in front of the sun in the lower right. It looked really interesting.
