This is the Oceanside Pier in California. When visiting a few weeks ago I was so looking forward to some colourful sunsets. This is pretty much what I got every evening. Warm light and no clouds.
I replaced the original post. Corrected for horizon not straight.
Red sky this morning and the wind was blowing pretty good here, lots of mist rising off the Lake and frozen fingers again! The sky was brewing up some snowfall for us and as promised the snow is coming down right now.
A little mixture of everything in this one...fog, clouds, and blue hour...and, of course, the riverwalk in New Orleans... :)
Rehoboth Beach, DE
A month or so ago I posted two photos of the Dolles Salt Water Taffy sign you can see in this shot. I named them "Iconic" and you can certainly see why I chose that name. It is a local landmark that sits at the end of Rehoboth Avenue as you reach the boardwalk and beach area.

Cutting through Minneapolis, I-94 gave me some great light trails after dark.
There is some unfortunate light flare from the nearest lightpost, but whatever.
A stormy and rainy night in Kansas City as people enjoy watching the storms roll in from the Liberty Memorial area.

I was running down the boardwalk, trying to make it to the shore before the sun dipped down below the horizon. There were 13 minutes left until sunset, but a solid, low-hanging cloud on the horizon pushed up the timeline. Jones Beach boardwalk, just west of Parking Lot 6. Originally built by Cardinal Wolsey in the early 16th century, Hampton Court was eventually taken over by Henry VII and turned into his residence. The palace is a blend of Tudor and Baroque architecture and was a home to the royal family until 1737 under George II. In 1838, Queen Victoria opened its doors to visitors.
I took this at night when I went for a sunset shooting,
No sunset was good for me without clouds but after the sun went down

The lights and colours are constantly changing on this building in different shades of red, purple and blue.
The Leckie Building is a massive cubic seven-storey Edwardian era warehouse/factory building located at the southeast corner of Cambie and Water Street in the historic district of Gastown. Built in 1908 and a large addition to the east was constructed in 1913. Exterior: brick and granite. Internal structure: built of massive timber elements.
Gastown is the historic core of Vancouver, and is the city's earliest, most historic area of commercial buildings and warehouses.
The Leckie Building is representative of the importance of Gastown as the trans-shipment point between the terminus of the railway and Pacific shipping routes, and the consequent expansion of Vancouver into western Canada's predominant commercial centre in the early 20th century
