I'm really having a heck of a time coming up with titles tonight.

Three of them dropped by work and were hanging around...big and nasty looking.

We met some friends at the Salt Lick in Driftwood today for lunch. We had a few minutes to kill before we met them, so we stopped at the general store for a few pictures. There was no one around, but when I stepped up on the porch to take a few pictures, I could hear the music of Johnny Cash coming from inside...

Clouds over the Subway and Verizon stores at the Prescott Valley Crossroads shopping center.

When the tracks and other equipment was pulled out of Downtown Redmond, many of the parts were reassembled along the railtrail.

Then if you turn around from the lightpole, you see this fairly mundane scene. 5 exposures taken together and adjusted to produce a painting. HDR tonemapping is fun stuff.

What can I say, I find light poles interesting.

While sitting at my desk at work, I felt like someone was watching me from outside. When I turned around to see who it was, I saw this guy sitting atop the light!

naah, just lightpole with 30m of exposure.

 

metered wrongly, should meter the highlights of the bright light as upper limit instead of metering on the leaves.

 

oh, how i envy them Nikon's Matrix Metering!!!
