Dolsan Bridge is the largest cable-stayed girder bridge in Korea. Constructed between 1980 and 1984, the bridge is 450 meters long and 11.7 meters wide. It is in Yeosu city, Jeollanam-do, and joins Dolsan-do with the peninsular mainland. Its structure is a distinctive orange and white, though in 2000 a lighting system was added, which allows for the display of 50 different colors at night.

After crossing the bridge to the Dolsan-do side, there is a port from whence small cruise ships depart. These boats sail around the neighboring bays and islands, and the cruises last anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. The bridge is overlooked by Dolsan Park.

What draws me towards this is the soft gradients in white created by light. Wouter Hogendorp was certainly instrumental in opening my eyes to the world filled with gradients and shadows. As far as the symmetry goes, that's the best I could do.

Coincidentally, this follows the pic which was minimalistic .

BTW, this one is a HDR :P. A bit too much, do you think? Hand held 3 exposures in steps of 1 1/3 EV.

On January 19, 2018, King Juan Carlos, Honorary Protocanon since 1977, took part in the inauguration ceremony for a new lighting system. The lighting in the Basilica was modernized first and foremost for aesthetic reasons. The system was designed to suit each individual era and to ensure that the specific artistic style was enhanced to best effect. Particular attention was paid to the creation of different types of lighting for different occasions, which range from the daily liturgies to the most solemn papal masses celebrated on the Papal Altar.

The altar and baldacchino were erected by Ferdinando Fuga in about 1750, with sculptural details by Pietro Bracci. Fuga demolished the late 14th century baldacchino and put up the present very impressive work in porphyry and gilded bronze with details in what looks like verde antico but is actually painted wood.

Four massive porphyry Corinthian columns spirally entwined with gilded bronze palm fronds (an allusion to the martyrdom of the saint) support a cornice via four posts bearing acanthus leaf embellishments. In between the posts are pendant rows of bronze plaques featuring winged putto's heads and palm fronds. On the cornice facing the nave is a set of crossed Papal keys. There is a low saucer dome, coffered on the inside in squares.

The spiral palm fronds were added by Valadier in 1823.

Although you can find EB Engineering's lights in places as varied as naval bases to the Lions Gate Bridge, the most visible of projects would have been during the 2010 Winter Games when Eddy Butler's company was contracted to light the Olympic rings welcoming visitors to the Vancouver International Airport and Coal Harbour. The project employed an Internet monitoring system that updated them on the status of the lights every six seconds.
