Got this photography book authored by John Hedgecoe a few weeks ago. I have been religiously reading the book and then experimenting what I've learned. He talks about emphasizing form and that to achieve the ideal form of an object e.g. fruits, the angle of the light source should be about 45º. I'm still learning these things, so here you go...be the judge.
An attempt at tinting and silvering a sepia image to age it. Also used lighting effects to try and recreate the silvering that some old images have

Applied poster edges to add some texture to the brickwork and then smoothed over the effect in the sky with the wave filter distortion tool and lighting effects.

My Cousin Hank Osika Jr has found a quite spot to pick a few notes. Hankie is Aunt Arlene (Metsch) Osika"s son. Hank is my age and is living in Ohio (2010). He plays in a band in and around his hometown.
Lighting effect done in PS CS2. At first I thought this picture was too dark, but the more I look at it the more I like the atmosphere to it.
The Enchanted Forest was named Best Cultural Event at the 2014 Scottish Event Awards and has now taken this title 3 times in the last 4 years.
