Boca Chita Key is the island north of the upper Florida Keys in Biscayne National Park, Miami-Dade County, Florida. The key is located in Biscayne Bay, just north of Sands Key. An ornamental 65-foot lighthouse is present on the key. (Wiki)

near Pilsum, East Frisia. Erected 1889 as a Leading Light, put out of service in 1915. Today the red-yellow-striped lighthouse is a favourite spot for weddings.

Portland in South West Victoria. Coast, lighthouse at Whalers Bluff..
Whalers Bluff Lighthouse is a lighthouse on Whalers Bluff, also known as Whalers Point, in the regional city of Portland in the Western District of the state of Victoria in Australia. It stands about 1.5 km north of the city centre and overlooks Portland’s harbour. It is operated by the Victorian Channels Authority, part of the Port of Melbourne Corporation..
The lighthouse was originally built at Battery Point in Portland in 1859 and was known as the Portland Bay Light. In 1889 it was relocated, stone by stone, to Whalers Bluff in order to make room for gun emplacements at Battery Point
Taken from atop Ft Screven, the original lighthouse was damaged by a severe storm and moved to this location...two more "stories" were added at different times, marked by the different colours...
The white house in front was the Chief Lightkeeper's home, complete with library/study...

The Cape Florida Lighthouse is located in Bills Baggs State Park on Key Biscayne. This is a very popular park for picnics, bicycling and just enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Had a gorgeous coastal walk with my wife today from Coldingham to St Abbs lighthouse. Wasn't really meant to be a togging day but took my gear anyway....! Couldn't resist this beautiful lighthouse and nice horizon! Some great rocky coves down there - definitely be back soon.

I spent a peaceful evening photographing the lighthouse at Ruhl on a visit to Scotland last year. I was lucky enough to have the place to myself a beautiful and peaceful way to spend watching the sun go down.
