I thought the trail through the grain field to the lighthouse looked pretty good and I liked the shadows here. Very muddy path though as it had rained pretty hard the night before.

Tune: Leave a Light On
"If you look into the distance, there's a house upon the hill
Guiding like a lighthouse it's a place where you'll be
Safe to feel our grace 'cause we've all made mistakes
If you've lost your way..."

Swell in pools and Lighthouse of Bajamar, Tenerife - Canary Islands.
This is a couple of firsts for me. My first lighthouse photo, from a recent trip to Oregon. And my first "official" pano-sabotage (after a few experiments.)

Godrevy Lighthouse was built in 1858–1859 on Godrevy Island in St Ives Bay, Cornwall. Standing approximately 300 metres (980 ft) off Godrevy Head, it marks the Stones reef, which has been a hazard to shipping for centuries. (Wikipedia)

The sun was already low when I took this picture of the lighthouse du Petit Mino in Plouzané, Finistère, in Brittany France. The mixture of clouds and colures gives this a moody appearance. I took a few pictures and enjoyed the peaceful sunset.
Heceta Head is named after the Spanish explorer Bruno de Heceta, who explored the Pacific Northwest during the late 18th century.
Perched on the rugged coastal cliffs of the Pacific Ocean, Heceta Head Lighthouse is a century-old working lighthouse standing 205 ft (62 m) above the ocean. Its lens still casts a beam 21 miles (34 km) out to sea, making it the brightest light on the Oregon Coast.
The Oregon Coast has nine lighthouses on the National Register of Historic Places, and seven are viewable by the public. Just twelve miles north of Florence, the picturesque Heceta Head Lighthouse stands out as probably the most photographed lighthouse among the nine.
Enjoy your Sunday.
Have a wonderful, safe week!

Fisgard Lighthouse Historical Site
Victoria, Vancouver Island, BC
Built November 16, 1860.
- a National Historic Site - The first lighthouse on Canada's west coast is still in operation! There hasn't been a keeper here since the light was automated in 1929, but every year many thousands of visitors step inside a real l9th century light, and capture some of the feeling of ships wrecked and lives saved.
Built by the British in 1860, when Vancouver Island was not yet part of Canada, Fisgard's red brick house and white tower has stood faithfully at the entrance to Esquimalt harbour. Once a beacon for the British Royal Navy's Pacific Squadron, today Fisgard still marks home base for the Royal Canadian Navy.
The waterfront sites at Fisgard Lighthouse and Fort Rodd Hill are extremely photogenic, especially with the scenic backdrop of the Olympic Mountains in neighbouring Washington state.
