Noah already loves climbing and hanging from these stairs upside-down from underneath in his hideout. Having them carpeted at last is awesome - I used to always trip on them on my way downstairs.

I go to this little pasta joint every Tuesday for dinner. I usually snap off something with my iPhone, but I wish I could bring in the big Nikon and not have people stare at me. The place has so many interesting views, lighting and textures. I find it hard to imagine that someone intentionally designed so many details into this place. I looked at this light fixture and noticed the curved ridges on the lens and the random bumpy texture of the metal. I think I could spend a month shooting the place and never get bored, though the photos may be a bit dull for everyone else after a bit. :)

I found this Antler Light Fixture in the local Claim Jumper.

This is probably as unusual as you can get.

Personally I think it's ugly.

But that's just me.

I was in the lobby of a community center and saw this light fixture hanging from the center of the ceiling. I stood directly under it and shot a picture of it looking straight up. It looks like a snowflake design all lit up to me.

The light fixture above this sink cast a reflection which seemed to hang in mid-air.

Neat illusion.

Two of the T8 light fixtures are lit up and working. Little do I know that later on Murphy will show up and make me redo the wiring for the second one...

This is a close up side shot of the lights at the Salt Lake City Library. These are probably some of the coolest light fixtures I have seen

I like this light fixture.

On the National Register #66000386 and also a National Historic Landmark.

I was walking by and saw broken glass on the ground. This great lighting fixture was broken by a vandal. A lot has changed in my hometown since I grew up here. We're still a relatively low crime town but there's a lot more crime here than there was when I was growing up. Including dumb selfish crap like this.

Starburst? Art deco? Not sure. This is a light fixture in the lobby of the shabby apartment building I live in. Built in the1920s, the place has seen better days, but this lovely decoration remains.

The seventh light fixture is lit up and working. The 12 gauge wire hanging off of it is determined to be "hot", and consequently ready to be hooked up into the eighth light fixture.
