This fixture from Insight, is an LED wall sconce called Ventana.
Beautiful ceiling light by Panzeri. It's not mounted on the ceiling right now though, it's just sitting on a block of wood and plugged into an outlet. I kind of like it this way. Looks pretty neat. I need to put a switch on the cord or something if I want to keep it as a lamp, though. Right now I have to unplug it from the outlet to turn it off.

Yikes! Not liking the frayed cord and worried about fire hazard. Over the ~50 years' worth of use these fixtures are in need of rehab.

Old Seoul Station, built in 1900, had been lying abandoned and neglected ever since the shiny, big and new Seoul Station was built next door in 2004.
I'm so glad they are using it for art exhibitions now. Last week I went to the Seoul International Photography Festival there. I did spend a lot of time looking at the photos, but mostly I was mesmerized by the fancy old chandeliers. I hope they preserve these ornate light fixtures.
Isn't this a cute little cover? Whoever painted this place last has no idea how to mask or remove hardware, so there's a swish of paint on the back. Chase made me promise to wear a mask when razoring paint off of anything glass in this place, since there could be lead.
The lightfixtures in the predominantly French-speaking parts of Canada are generally more aesthetically pleasing than the lightfixtures in the predominantly English-speaking parts of Canada.
Imagine opening your door to a nighttime visitor standing in the light of that.
