If you line up your shots carefully there are vignettes possible that could have been taken 75 years ago. The conductor heads from the coolness of the morning depot back to his waiting train at the platform. August 10, 2024.

The Little Chapel of Silence was added to Town and Gown in 1936, and the architect is unknown. Probably the quietest and least known part of USC campus. It is part of the University of Southern California Historic District which is on the National Register of Historic Places #15000408.
Royal light is located along the River Thames at Westminster Bridge and has a compact (or mini) fluorescent light bulb inside.

The LCoF theme is hands. Not easy trying it as a selfie, single handedly, with a camera phone. I think I like the “bird in the hand” one better.
Very little. Positive feedback about his work. Feedback. When you give the material, and then they write to you that it is unrealistic beautiful pictures.
⠀
And I want to work even more when your work begins to be published on interesting sites, magazines 📓 . Which is what happened to me.

My photos were published on my page by a French fashion magazine. Nice? Very 🙈 . Do you want to continue working? Even more and even better!
So, who has long wanted to arrange an interesting photo shoot? Rather, write to me in messages.

70s chandelier - once top modern design, now not so much. At a Prague hotel.

Victoria Mansion, also known as the Morse-Libby House, is the finest example of residential design from the pre-Civil War era in America. With superb architecture and well-preserved original interiors that were among the most lavish and sophisticated in their day, it is an unparalleled document of America’s highest aspirations in architecture, interior design, and the decorative arts.

Throwback to times when people actually dressed up to travel.
That's what I am reminded of when I see the beautiful light fixtures at @ChiUnionStation.
I highly recommend the @chiarchitecture tour. Very informative with access to a couple of rooms you never get to see.
This next series of mine will be focused on details. Considering I only had my @CanonUSA 100mm lens with me.

I took this right outside the Lincoln Park Conservatory, a beautiful glass building full of interesting plants. From here, you can look south on Lincoln Park and see the skyscrapers of Chicago in the distance.

This will be my last upload for about two weeks as I'm about to leave on vacation.
This is the stained glass light fixture and flower arrangement in the entry lobby just inside the front door. I'm glad I had the golden hour light shining into the lobby. In this photo, I tried highlighting the artistry, craftsmanship, woodwork, and curvature of the stained glass. I believe the design is torrey pine branches and pine cones.

"Step into the timeless craftsman charm of The Lodge at Torrey Pines. Overlooking the world-renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course with views of the Pacific Ocean, the AAA Five Diamond rated resort exceeds expectations with world-class dining, a full-service spa and unprecedented service.

"Inspired by the creative genius of architects Greene & Greene, the Lodge at Torrey Pines uniquely embodies the spirit of the Arts and Crafts movement. The guest rooms of the existing hotel were demolished and replaced by new guest wings. Public areas were extensively renovated and expanded adding a new ballroom and a full service spa and fitness center. KSDS was responsible for the design of all guest rooms, suites and public areas. In an effort to properly pay homage to this distinctive period in architectural history, extensive research was undertaken, resulting in a high level of expertise in the Arts and Crafts Movement.
"The lobby celebrates the work of Charles and Henry Greene in every detail, from the finely crafted millwork and to the meticulously replicated light fixtures and furniture. The custom stained glass entry doors were created by the same art glass studio that partnered with Greene & Greene on many of their historic homes."

We had a date at the A.R. Valentien Restaurant at the Lodge at Torrey Pines. A very elegant 1 Star Michelin Restaurant.

"AN EXCEPTIONAL FINE DINING EXPERIENCE
The Lodge’s signature restaurant, A.R. Valentien, highlights regional San Diego cuisine served in an elegant, timbered indoor-outdoor dining room overlooking the 18th hole of Torrey Pines Golf Course. Executive Chef Kelli Crosson sources only the best local provisions, and the menu changes frequently based on seasonal fare available. The restaurant takes its name from a talented early 20th-century California artist whose works are exhibited throughout the restaurant."""
