Top of a green fiber optic wand used on parties, illuminated by a table lamp from the top and on the right side by a small portable light. The light on the right created some unique shapes in the plastic filaments and I wasn't expecting that, but I think it turned out better than I expected.

New York City - January 23, 2023: Long exposure of Midtown Manhattan with the Empire State Building lit up for the Chinese Lunar New Year. This view of Midtown was taken at the 14th Street Pier in Hoboken, New Jersey just after sunset as the sky was purple and pink.
An egret flying just over the waters of the Man Sagar lake in Jaipur with a mesmerizing background of blue ripples formed on the water surface transforms the shot into something magical. The bird enjoys every bit of its flight with wings fully open and a catch made from the lake to satiate its hunger.

The Dark Hedges in Northern Ireland is a natural wonder that lives up to its reputation. Imagine a tranquil country lane transformed into an enchanted tunnel of trees, with ancient beech trunks twisting and arcing overhead. In the morning light, the interlocking branches form a canopy of emerald green and dappled shadows.
The Dark Hedges was a local treasure for decades. Over time, stories and legends began to take root, including that of the Grey Lady. Her presence adds an element of mystery.

For Macro Mondays. The theme is 'trash'. Now it so happens I had a head cold and the pile of used scrunched up tissues was getting bigger around me. So I thought, there's an idea, I use the used tissues for an image. lol. They are piled up and with a light from below. (torch). Gives it a nice effect! Luckily the cold has gone now. As have the tissues.
