This was shot from a park on the riverside of Hoboken. Pier A Park. It was a beautiful place.
People were fishing there, and a boy got a real big fish. One should have seen him, he was so happy. Was fun watching all that :)

This is a digital painting based on several references.
Patrick Swayze was an American actor, dancer and singer-songwriter. He was best-known for his roles as romantic leading men in the films Dirty Dancing and Ghost and as Orry Main in the North and South television miniseries.
Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in early 2008. He continued acting until, in 2009, he became too ill to do so. Later the same year he died from the disease.

Few days ago, before going to bed, I noticed interesting light effect on the lamp. I changed the lenses on my camera and I captured it.
1.The early morning sky
2.The lamp silhouette
3.The open work on the lamp, width 6-7 mm, the scene where the light magic took place
Göteborg kontraster is a series of 14 images shot in Gothenburg, Sweden, in the spring of 2023. It focuses on the shades of trees and growth in contrast to the disciplined architecture of the city, where the low sun of the afternoon creates aa myriad of shades and details.

Fujifilm GFX100S with GF63mm F2.8 lens, ISO 100, 1/200s, f5.6. Postproduction: Capture One 23 Pro.

I loved the colors of the landscape in this photo, and thought I would rework the sky some. I used the lasso tool with a very strong feather on the original size image to select portions and add just a bit of contrast. I then added some sections of new sky from a couple other images...again using the lasso tool to select the portions.
I had these as regular mode layers and soft light mode layers and different amounts of opacity. Thank you Umbra Letum for letting me work on your wonderful photo.

November 16th. It's #4s 10th birthday this weekend so she had a little party with her friends. I was intending to get a shot of them all misbehaving for the final break the rules shot. However, when I realised I could get this lens effect from the candles angled onto her head, how could I resist?
After all she is my little angel. Not.
Again, I've softened this a little in Snapseed.
(I am slightly embarrassed by the coke can - it is decaff sugar free - they are only allowed it on birthdays and christmas, but i would have moved it if i'd planned this!)
