Kraftwerk "Metall auf Metall"
A vibrant display of illuminated ornate lamps and lanterns hanging from a ceiling, within a market, where every lantern tells a story of light. The sheer number and variety of lamps hanging from the ceiling create a striking visual display, making the scene unique and captivating.
The variety of metallic lamps, some with intricate cut-out patterns creating decorative light effects, are suspended at different heights, filling the frame. The lighting creates a warm, inviting ambiance, highlighting the detailed craftsmanship of the fixtures.
The low-angle shot, looking upwards, emphasizes the density and intricate patterns of the lighting fixtures. The depth of field appears somewhat shallow, bringing the foreground and midground lanterns into focus while the background elements are slightly softer, creating a sense of depth.
The scene is illuminated primarily by the warm glow emanating from within the lanterns themselves. This creates a rich, atmospheric lighting scheme with strong contrasts between the illuminated patterns and the darker, unlit portions of the fixtures and ceiling. The interplay of light and shadow highlights the detailed craftsmanship of the lanterns.
The dominant colors are warm tones of brass, copper, and the soft yellow/orange of the light, contrasted with darker, possibly aged metal or wood of the ceiling and some of the larger, solid bells. The textures appear varied, from smooth, polished metal to intricately perforated patterns that cast unique light designs.
The warm glow emanating from the lamps creates a distinctive and inviting ambiance evoking a sense of warmth, exoticism, and intricate beauty.
This organic orb in rainbow colors was created while testing a new light painting tool in my studio. There will surely be some more shots.
Before sunrise was a bit of time to create this nice Lightpainting. It shoes the Borobudur temple in a new light. Never seen before.

in this corridor of disappearing time, shadows stretch across stone and glass like a silent countdown. the people move — slowly, certainly — but without urgency. they are figures in a grid, part of the architecture, walking through a space made entirely of waiting.

There are probably already thousands of photos of this unusual construction, a combination of steel grid substructure and solid metal superstructure. But I rotated the camera by 180° during this shot. For me looks more dramatic.

The Jabeolle (J-bug) cultural complex is located in Ttukseom park, Seoul. The building’s futuristic design is based on an inchworm and curves around from the subway station to the riverbank. Inside you can enjoy exhibitions, read books in the library, or view the Han River from the observation deck.

Long exposure light design in the air at night with the help of 24 among candles & lanterns, my two hands & arms and my Canon EOS 250D. No editing nor post-production (except my #WhiteANGEL watermark made with another long exposure shot of light painting).
I painted these wings in a wide portion of my garden, so, they are very large :-) With many light painting sessions I became more skilled in painting in the air at night, till reaching discrete results of shapes and even lettering. My monogram logo was obtained writing with fire, in fact. But I like this early attempt because I can see the raw spontaneous strokes and just in the digital processing I happened to realize they looked like wings.

The upload file is almost 22MB, took me half an hour + 2 time outs of the server to upload it to Flickr but I see it now so downsized, what a pity, I was willing it's possible to surf & navigate inside this picture, like it was years ago on Flickr.
Anyway, pls, zoom it to enjoy it better. If possible, I'll try to replace it with a larger upload.
My photo represents my way to visually illustrate the concept of Oneness,
whose discovery and comprehension is an essential step towards Awareness and finally Enlightenment.

I was looking for a place to lightpaint a car and found this place. So, I did the part 2 of "give me energy". Made in Steinhagen next to my door in a lost place. Made with LED Lenser M7 and a Chinese LED-umbrella.
This week the night sky in our region offered ideal conditions to take a photo of the Milky Way. Since the Lüneburg Heath was completely booked out by e-bike retirees at the weekend and the distance for a day trip is too far for me, another dark area had to be found. So first ask the #LPM app. See there, about 150km from home there is an area in Sollingen (Nordheim district) that is not so polluted by light. So pack things and go there. Arrived in the early afternoon, there was still enough time to look around and find a few locations to take photos. These shouldn't be too far from a parking lot either, because I didn't want to drag the equipment through the night forever. So I hiked about 9 km with Geane to explore the area. Except for a lookout tower, there was no free panoramic view of the sky here. Since it was very windy, it moved the tower relatively strongly, which made long-term exposure impossible. So I asked the #PhotoPills app about the position of the Milky Way at night. Then I came across a path with the right orientation. So now we just had to wait for the night. We enjoyed the sunset on the #Hochsollingturm. Then we made our way to the #torfmoor-parking lot and got to work. The result is “The Way To The Milkyway”.
The following were used:
#CANON EOS 6DII
#LAOWA D-Dreamer 12mm F2.6
#LEDLenser
#BallOfLight Tool
Of course there was no photo shop here. First I set the lens to the distance of the orb with the aperture f22 and painted the orb. Then a part of the environment is illuminated with the LEDLenser and the lens is set to maximum distance and aperture f2.8. Then post-exposed for 20 seconds. That’s it. With a little practice, you can still do it perfectly. I'll try that again in the Lüneburg Heath.

You see two camera rotations in one picture. First, the light figure was brought into the picture with the DIY rotation tool. For this, I carried out a camera rotation in 45° steps. Then I illuminated the motorway bridge three times during a 120° camera rotation. The tools used are described below.

The entire shooting has been obtained with the sole help of 1 camera (Canon EOS 250D), my body & two hands movements and a variety of lanterns & candles, from 1 to 24, accordingly to the pose.
