Hello Everyone!
I loved the pastel tones of this one. Very little editing was done in Photohop Elements 15 using Colour Curves to accentuate the whites.
Thank you for looking and your comments. I do LOVE hearing from you! Enjoy your day!

Thunderstruck ... Cyclone Marcus would hit Darwin two days after this photo was taken. At the mouth of Swim Creek, 250km from Darwin, it was a dark threat on the horizon.
We finally see the light after a difficult time of worry, my Mom was sent home from the hospital today! Still very tired, no energy, now taking antibiotics & on the mend! Thank you all for your very kind thoughts & prayers, they have made a difference & touched us all =)

And just like that the snow is gone This a view of the Cumbrian Lake District Fells as we headed to a village called Sandwith. This is one of our regular walks we come along the coastal path from Whitehaven and head into Sandwith, it takes us round in a loop and back home.
I have to say there are worse places to live ! We are grateful we live here. This was captured yesterday (Thursday 16th January )

Obviously, the Horn of Plenty, also known as the“Cornucopia” (from the two Latin words; “Cornu” meaning “horn” and “Copia” meaning “plenty”) represents the harvest and abundance (in life): Fruitful life.
---------------------------------
Often at Thanksgiving people will decorate their homes with a cornucopia. They will fill it with fruits and vegetables and call it a Horn of Plenty. This cornucopia is a symbol of having more than enough food to provide for your family, and that is one of the things that we are very thankful to God for.
