Light in motion - On the road again
I got this "light in motion" vision for ages and tested different variations over the past weeks.
The possibilities with this technique are diverse and I tried to mix them with other lp elements....more to come.... 😀✌ 😛✌ I'm already loving this journey to explore lp by myself through trial and error and it's so much fun to invent/create new things!

Clinging On.
The idea of quitting calmly danced across my thoughts earlier.
Then it danced right out of my head again stage left and I got off my arse.
Not breaking any new ground but good to bag such an intricate shot first time.
Tripod swapping strobist long exposure camera rotation.
This is basically the beginning of rewards after the past 9 months locked in a garage after undertaking the build of a completely new Mini. Albert the Mini guru has been leading me through painstaking work teaching me everything about every component, how they all assemble and how to break the bank. The guy has been a legend, and just so happens to love light-painting - even after our 28hrs building the engine. Typical daily conversation in the garage:
Gar: "So what do we need to rebuild the carb and how long will it take?"
Albert: Really detailed explanation on carbs and options forward followed by "So whats the best aperture for shooting star trails?"
Gar: Really detailed explanation on aperture followed by "What do roller-tip rockers do for road noise levels?"
Albert: Really detailed explanation on rockers & cams followed by "What ISO do most light painters use?"......
You get the idea.

A series of planets, made with light painting and named after known planets in our universe and Star Trek planet names.
Et si on changeait un peu les règles ?
Si d'habitude notre LightPainting s'exprime par des mouvements de lumières, nous avons souhaité changer les règles. Face aux ambiances lumineuse des cités urbaines, nous avons appliqué le mouvement à l'appareil photo lui même.
Cette technique se base sur des rotations et des zoom de l'appareil.
Le décor devient la source lumineuse avec laquelle il faut composer.

The usual suspects on show here tonight. My fixed Ryus torch has passed away again so no physiograms tonight. Double camera rotation of a mini dlw, diffused, using some frosted plastic (cheers LACE) followed by some blade spinning. Stand in strobe provided by a Convoy S2+

Then I used black fiber optic with a green gelled torch for the Hydra...... :P
