Seeing this shadow on the kitchen wall the other day, reminded me of the time when I was a little girl and visited my grandpa. I liked to draw my Nonno's silhouette on the wall of his bedroom. He didn't mind my pencil lines following his shadows, forming his silhouetted profile against the white wall. The drawings stayed there until the walls were freshly painted once a year for spring.
Light and shadow. I have a fascination with geometry and angles. I was obsessed with symmetry as a child. I think there's a bit of that in me still.
