This is a photo of a light post behind creekview. I stood directly next to the pole and put the camera straight up. The only editing I did was upping the contrast. The only thing I would do differently is maybe changing the focus.
like most impeccably awesome london infrastructure, this metal capping was busted wide open and had a tangle of wires dripping onto the pavement.
We covered the capping with The Orphans and made the lightpost real nice.
Light post surrounded by the IR light coming from the storm clouds brewing tonight.
The high iso noise of the D80 really works for this shot.
During the day they seem like regular little green signs, but at night, a backlight activates and we have light up signs at this intersection now!
I woke up early and went out to take pictures of downtown in the fog. All I came back with was some less than exciting pictures of Wichita's downtown and this marginally interesting lamp post picture.
Staring up towards the sun, aligned to a mall parking lot light post, great clouds almighty in the sky... High con iPhone pic.
I took a picture of two birds on top of a light post. They are biotic because birds are living animals. This light post is located in a man made parking lot, and it is also near man made gardens and in a terrestrial environment.
Weird angles with a solid wall behind it to brighten the image and change the lighting from the other light post shot. I tried to change the subject of the image from the whole lamp post to just the lamp itself.

Those branches behind the light post make it seem it´s got a pair of arms, doesn´t it?
Silly pic, just to have some fun.
nobody notices the simple things when you are standing next to the arch de triumph and eiffel tower. Even this light post doesn't hold a candle
