It's funny. I was flipping through my photos and saw this one, and randomly thought of this quote. I'm pretty sure I've heard it somewhere, because I can't make that up in my head. It seemed to fit, with the movement on the road (blurry, I know), but I love that the bokeh lights and that construction sign didn't come out blurred (well they aren't in focus, but aren't hazy, is what I'm trying to say here).
Just put this little thing together right now. I randomly took this shot last night on a quick drive with dad. I made a little time-lapse too! I'm a little hesitant to put it up because it doesn't look as good as some of the ones I see on Flickr. I'm going to try and process it a bit more (in terms of video)...I love the photo quality of the camera images, so I'm going to leave those as SOOC. I wanted to process this one though, because there was just a lot of orange in it! I'm so much more inclined to do night-time shots these days just because of the Mark 3. Haha. It's fun though! I just haven't had a lot of time to go out with my tripod and do it. Maybe next weekend.

This is a continuation from my last piece called "Our lives".
I decided that I will be making a series, and will be entitled "Life lessons".
But the inspiration from this piece came from a drawing in my sketchbook. A woman was holding up a plant, something that seems rather insignificant, and protecting in from the danger that was going on all around her. Just because it was alive.
There are so many that take Life for granted. Even our own. We go through the motions each day, without realizing the grandness of living. In a way, that is destroying life.
Or there are the times when you could have been kinder towards things that can do nothing for you; the insects, animals, even wildlife.
And then there are the times when you respect all of the above far more than your fellow man, woman or child. Where you could have helped. Where you can be helping. Where you can be making a life better. And happier.
So please try to think about how you can Protect Life :) And also, please tell me what this photo says to you.
