Sometimes it's nice to bring yourself down to their level. It's where you get the best shots.
Most of my clothes have dirt stains on them because I'm constantly rolling around on the ground trying to find the right angle.
Level were formed by IAG as a secondary carrier in 2017, and for a time flew the Vienna to Gatwick route, and on this day it was operated by Airbus A321 OE-LCP.
In 2020, short haul routes ceased and now the airline specialises serving the Americas from Barcelona, using a fleet of A330s.

a level 5 alert fire is the highest level a fire can be gauged. a level 5 requires the assistance of all available firefighters to help control the situation. yesterday i came across this fire incident which was given this status as the conditions, high level winds, water shortage and very dry weather, induced the flames even further. this large fire razed through this community of urban informal settlers in metro manila scorching hundreds of houses that left hundreds of families homeless. firefighters were able to control the fire after 12 hours
Fasciation is not uncommon in this species, if nutrient levels are high and it is growing vigorously.
In this particular species the five petals are very nearly equal in size and shape. Although commonly known as "French lavender" its natural distribution includes much of the Mediterranean Basin plus Eritrea and Ethiopia, and also Yemen on the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula. Probably because of this more-southern distribution which includes parts of the tropics, it is more reliable in Brisbane's wet-summer subtropical climate at 27ºS than the "English" lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), which is only native to Spain, southern France, Italy and the western Balkans.

This photo was cropped but no level adjustment was done nor any needed. I'm becoming pretty good at getting those straight out of camera from a moving car...Northbound Hwy-880 in Berkeley, CA.
The Rocks is one of the oldest areas in Sydney. The Sandstone materials used in the construction in a lot of the structures in the area, combined with some narrow streets and well place lighting make it the ideal site for some night time HDR photos.
This particular shot is looking down what are known as the Argyle steps, presumably known as such because they lead down to Argyle Street.
With a lot of popular restaurants, pubs and other night spots in the area trying to take the brackets for this photos on a Saturday night probably wasn't the wildest ideas, with plenty of happy drunks wanting to play up to the camera. Thankfully the long exposures meant most of them just became an apparition in the scene.
Ironic because the rocks is the alleged sight of much ghostly activity so much so that regular ghost tours run in the area

A surveyor’s level is permanently in place and can be moved so they can measure the lean and report back to the minister for levelling up. The central core of the tower. Built first and the levels built around it. On making our way to the very top, 'level 21' there was absolutely no view point, just a lot of dust and a serious lack of window.
Russell Woods ... drove by our old home from 55 years ago today. The original building design by Mason & Rice Architects, and custom built for a cousin of Henry Ford. The structure inside had oak timbers and field stone floors, and a large open stone fireplace on main level. Upper level had oak hardwood floors held together with wooden pegs. Leaded glass windows and slate roof. Overlooking Lake St. Clair.
