Mimus gilvus (Tropical Mockingbird / Sinsonte tropical)
The Tropical Mockingbird is the neotropical counterpart to the Northern Mockingbird (Mimus polyglottus), replacing Northern Mockingbird south of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. The two species are similar in appearance, but Tropical Mockingbird has less white in the wings, lacking the white primary coverts and white bases to the primaries of Northern Mockingbird.

The Brocken is the highest summit in the Harz with an elevation of 1,141.1 metres (3,744 ft) above sea level. The Wurmberg (971 metres (3,186 ft)) is the highest peak located entirely within the state of Lower Saxony.

A lifer bird and a surprise in and around the Longpoint area earlier this migration. Since this was at the side of a busy road impossible to get eye level without trespassing so here is my best shot with a reflection!
The main waterfall at Dividend Pond (Rocky Hill, Connecticut) is a great place to practice.
I was able to move in the stream relatively easily (though still cautiously) side-to-side and forward-backward. It was one of the few times I've been able to tinker with composition quite a bit as large natural waterfall areas are typically pretty restrictive or dangerous for in-person photography.
