Saturday morning I went to Kits Beach and as I saw the logs on the beach, I though about how trying something or making a significant change in one's life can bring challenges.
However, I know I overcome any challenge put before me, by drawing strength from those that believe in me and by continuing to believe in myself.

After consultation with my Myeloma Specialist/Hematologist, I've made the choice to add an additional chemo to my Pomalyst chemo treatment. My December blood test results show that my cancer levels have increased from 8 in November to between 10 and 11 now. It should be more effective to have 2 chemos fighting my multiple myeloma now, before my cancer levels get too high. Multiple myeloma has severe symptoms that hopefully I can minimize with lower cancer levels.

Nov = 8
Late Oct = 9
Early Oct = between 5 and 6
Sept = under 7.7
Aug = value missing
July = 3.0 (ended Dexamethasone)

The details are still being worked out, although I hope to start soon. I'm staying positive that my cancer levels will drop - and stay down for a long time.
To recap: On Sunday, December 31st, I completed Cycle 38 Week 3. I have Multiple Myeloma and anemia, a rare cancer of the immune system. It is incurable, but treatable. Since February 9th 2015, I have been on Pomalyst and dexamethasone chemo treatment (Pom/dex). On July 16th, my dexamethasone treatment ended, due to eye damage, as reported by my Glaucoma Specialist, from long-term use.
You have to admire the courage, vision and financial commitment to create something that is unique.
Access to the rooms is via open air 'corridors'. You can take the lift, or take the stairs. The tubes that hold the handrails are positioned in random angles. When you take the stairs they rattle in the holes in the top and bottom aluminium holders. This was probably unintentional, but I imagine the people who commissioned were quite pleased about this. Its almost interactive.
Each floor has a different colour theme, this colour scheme extends into the room with the first half of the room in that colour. Here you can see the red, orange and amber levels.
The tree was here long before the hotel.

Progress of works in February 2014 for the removal of the level crossing at Springvale. The bridge deck is complete and the new depressed line is being excavated and the new station is under construction, immediately to the north of the old one.
Works are to be completed during 2014.

Note temporary 2-track cantilever overhead structures have been installed to allow for construction to occur close to the existing tracks. An additional road to access the Westall yards from this end, located to the to the right, was also removed to allow for the new line.

This is Edgbaston Reservoir. It was formerly known as Rotten Park Reservoir.
Edgbaston Reservoir, originally known as Rotton Park Reservoir and referred to in some early maps as Rock Pool Reservoir, is a canal feeder reservoir in the Ladywood district of Birmingham, England. It is situated close to Birmingham City Centre and is a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation.
Originally a small pool named Roach Pool in Rotton Park it was extensively enlarged by Thomas Telford between 1824-1829 to supply water to the Birmingham and Wolverhampton Levels of the Birmingham Canal Navigations (BCN) canal system via Icknield Port Loop. It was excavated to a depth of 40 feet (12 m) and covers an area of 80 acres (320,000 m2), holding 300,000,000 imperial gallons (1,400,000 m3) of water, and was the largest expanse of water in Birmingham at the time. It is supplied by small streams and a feeder from Titford Reservoir (Titford Pools) in Oldbury. It was formed by damming a small stream. The dam is a 330 metre long earth embankment with a height of 10 metres near the centre.
The reservoir and gatehouse were designed by Thomas Telford and the latter is a listed building in corporate BCN octagonal style.

Across the fjord you can see the Riddarholmen Church, one of the oldest buildings in Stockholm. It is the burial site of the Swedish Kings. Further away on the left side there's The Church of Saint Clare or Klara Kyrka.

There is a Bronze statue of the Buddha coated in gold. This is one of the most valuable items in the Pagoda. Every visitor must bow at the Buddha. On the walls, apart from the picture of the Buddha, there are calligraphies and poems mainly by famous scholars from Tang Dynasty.
