The Iowa State Fair 2017 is going strong! We heard good music, saw the kiddies ride, ate too much, and looked at some interesting exhibits in textiles.

For this photo, I took pictures of my favorite brand of shoes, I have tons of Vans, and they are all my prized possessions, and I liked how the texture went with the "dirtiness" of the shoes. I took these pictures out on the street outside my house. Just some cropping and turned down the brightness in the first picture. I get a rebel kind of feeling to it, normal, dirty, Vans aren't supposed to be getting dirty.
