My son's dog, looking at us pleading to get out of the heat as I had the studio flood lights on the background, shooting pictures of her mom, my daughter in law. =) She was so adorable looking at us like that, I could not help but make her the star of my upload to flickr today. her name is Sasha and she is a Rottweiler, lab, greyhound, etc., mix. She is a wonderful creature--adopted from shelter at 10 weeks of age. She is almost 2 years old now.
Camera info: Canon 5D mark II with EF 50mm f/1.4 taken at f/6.3 with 1/80 shutter speed and at ISO 100, custom white balance. I used on-camera flash turned sideways. Two floodlights lighting background at 500 Watts each and 3 lightbox lights for general lighting further out at 1000 Watts each but I am not sure all lights were turned on (there are 5 light bulbs in each 1000 Watts lightbox). I did not have the background pulled down for "real" studio shooting--the backdrop would have been white vinyl from floor to ceiling... but I did not take the studio setup seriously at this point. It was just a test.

Rocamadour is located in south central France in the region called Occitanie. It is a site which simply should not be missed.

Who doesn't have some romantic yearning to whisk along Route 66 in a vintage convertible. I did sections of the route in my pickup truck (it had a panoramic roof) if that counts. And air conditioning. Wasn't a bad way to cover the miles in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. :o).
