And when the broken hearted people living in the world agree,
There will be an answer. Let it be.
For though they may be parted, there is still a chance that they will see.
There will be an answer. Let it be.
Day 63 - July 31st, 2009.
The second installment of The Beatles Break! To me, this fits the song. It's not a literal interpretation, I guess you could say, but I feel like it's the best stab I could take.
I woke up this morning because my dog sneezed in my face. Four times.
Yesterday was crap. I've decided today will be better. Shine until tomorrow, let it be.
I'm off to work now.
I've got a lot to say but nothing to say at the same time.
Thank you for being you. :)

The Lennon Wall was formerly an ordinary historic wall in Prague, but since the 1980s, people have filled it with John Lennon-inspired graffiti and pieces of lyrics from Beatles songs.
In 1988 the wall was a source of irritation for the then communist regime of Gustav Husak. Young Czechs would write grievances on the wall and in a report of the time this led to a clash between hundreds of students and security police on the nearby Charles Bridge. The movement these students followed was described ironically as Lennonism and Czech authorities described these people variously as alcoholics, mentally deranged, sociopathic, and agents of Western capitalism.
The wall continuously undergoes change and the original portrait of Lennon is long lost under layers of new paints. Even when the wall was re-painted by some authorities, on the second day it was again full of poems and flowers. Today, the wall represents a symbol of youth ideals such as love and peace.
The wall is owned by the Knights of the Maltese Cross, who allowed the graffiti to continue on the wall.
You know, I'm not sure if my engagement ring is magic or what, but ever since Andy slipped this baby on my finger, it's become increasingly difficult to get under my skin. It's like a stress defuser. And I needed one. I'm not saying my life is all roses and daffodils now. I'm just doing a better job of letting the small stuff roll right off my back. I wonder how long that will last.
Soccer tonight. I might have missed Monday's game, but with tonight and the tournament I'm playing in this weekend, I will probably wind up having played in five games this week. Hello exercise! Hopefully that'll keep my weightloss chugging along. Only eight-ish months until the wedding. Gotta go full steam ahead! :)

All finished!! I chose "For You Blue" because it's one of my favorite songs from "Let It Be", my favorite Beatles album and because it was written and performed by George Harrison,my favorite Beatle :-)
i'm getting so tired of how rude people are. when did the world and people in get so cruel?
where have all the good people gone? as bonnie tyler would have asked, except she was asking about men. :)
it's not hard to show kindness. if anything it's what this world needs is people to show a little more kindness. so thank you to all the people who go out of their way to be kind to others, even to others who don't always deserve it. we need more people like you in this world!

That leads to your door
Will never disappear
Ive seen that road before
It always leads me her
Lead me to you door
The wild and windy night
That the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears
Crying for the day
Why leave me standing here
Let me know the way
Many times Ive been alone
And many times Ive cried
Any way youll never know
The many ways Ive tried
But still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long long time ago
Dont leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door
But still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long long time ago
Dont leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
I wake up to the sound of music

I was tagged by the lovely Kellie . Don't you just wanna live inside some people's photostreams? When those people ask, you do. I'll attempt to make it different from my first go-round.
1. I hate gum. I hate when people chew it. I hate when they leave the wrappers around. Blow bubbles. Pull it from their mouth. I will never give my kids a piece or even encourage it. No, I didn't have a bad Gum in the Hair incident. I just hate it.
2. I loathe when people are late. I'm a nutcase about being on time & I can't understand why some people are always late.
3. I have a potty mouth. Like a filthiest sailor you've ever met. Sometimes when I comment on Flickr I wonder if there's any rule on cussing, so I just play it safe. Even though we don't cuss in front of our children, it slips out. I'm amazed that we've only had one S-word & one D-word pop out of Cooper's mouth. And he tried to cover up the S-word by telling me he said, "Shut". He was a little over 2. I'm also amazed that I didn't cuss during his labor & delivery. I did poop on the nurse, so I didn't really class it up.
4. "Fancy" by Reba McIntrye is the greatest song ever written & preformed.
5. I've been known to listen to the same song 17 times in a row. If it's a diva song with lots of bravado, I'll sing along & beat my chest like a good diva. Don't be fooled. I sing like a dying cow. I am insanely jealous of Drag Queens.
6. I have had some weird crushes. Eddie Rabbitt, Ray Walston, Tim Robbins, & now Jay Z.
7. My MIL confirmed something I realized shortly after having a boy. Just this past weekend she said, "One day you'll realize that you'll come second to the other mother." Part of me likes this aspect of having a boy. Part of me fear this.
8. Growing up, I constantly got lost driving in our tiny neighborhood. My parents still laugh that I have a job that forces me to drive across three states. I rarely get lost & just got a GPS system for Christmas. They got it for me.
9. I think it's sad when people say they hate being alone. My job has taught me to be very comfortable being alone. I drive alone. Eat alone. Watch tv in hotels alone. It isn't always ideal, but I can handle it.
10. I'm self conscious about my writing. Not the content. That's me being honest. But about the properness of it all. Are there words missing? Is the comma being used incorrectly? What about an adverb or ending with a preposition? My sister is an English teacher so I know that she's correcting every single thing I've typed. (What's the total of wrong or missing in this one?"
That was fun all over again!
If you wanna try, let me know. But I'm tagging a few I haven't seen.

Good luck with the divorce proceedings Paul!
You meet thousands of people, and none of them really touch you. And then you meet one person, and your life is changed forever.
I've always been that girl who knows the right words to say, when her friends are hurting. Or so I've been told. But I've found that I can never find the right words when I'm the one who's hurt. I find myself finding my own advice the biggest pile of bullshit on the planet. I'm the perfect example of those people "who should follow your own advice."
I tend to get really angry at the fact that I'm still able to be hurt. It's almost like I had forgotten the fact that I'm human just like everyone else, and can be hurt as well. No matter what I'd like to convince myself. The stone cold bottom line is, I am hurt. And I'm still capable of getting my heart broken. Maybe in a way (which I'm not ready to admit to myself yet) this happened for the best, to remind me what pain feels like again, so I will be more appreciative when it's gone and happiness returns. And the logically part of me, knows that it will. Just like I always tell everyone else and that life will go on. Here's to waiting for life to go on.
Was about to roll into bed when I got the idea to do this. I kind of love how it turned out. Pretty awesome words to live by too...
My friend and I went to this show in Ann Arbor in 1986. Before the show we stopped in to Schoolkids records to wonder around, and, to our surprise, Bob Stinson was sitting on a box next to the door. He had been drinking quite a bit, but was extremely friendly and cordial to us, signed a few autographs ( including the Circle Jerks flyer posted on my page ), and talked with us for about 15 minutes. When the show started he was extremely drunk and had gotten lost wondering around Ann Arbor. The Replacements recruited the guitarist from the opening band for the first 2 1/2 songs, after which Bob finally appeared and staggered on to the stage and played guitar really well.
Bob Stinson's story is one of a very talented musician who succumbed to the pressures of the rock star life. He abused drugs and alcohol for many years, and died in 1995 at the age of 46, his star burning out way too early. He left The Replacements ( or was kicked out depending on the story ) about 2 weeks after this show. The Replacements continued on, but they were never the same. The fire and the edge from their music was gone. This was one of the last shows Bob ever played with them.
The original poster is about 2 1/2 feet tall. I had to scan it in a section at a time and clone to take out the folds, etc.
Neither boy seems to pay much attention to music except when it comes to Carol Woods version of the Beatles classic "Let it be"
When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

In April 1984 the club was taken over by Liverpool F.C. player Tommy Smith in association with Royal Life. Occupying almost 50% of the original site, it was re-built with many of the same bricks that had been used in the original club. The new design was to resemble the original as closely as possible. This was a difficult period of massive economic and political change in and around Liverpool and the club only survived until 1989, when it came under financial pressures and closed for 18 months.[citation needed] In 1991, two friends — school teacher Bill Heckle and Liverpool cabbie Dave Jones — reopened The Cavern.[citation needed] They still run the club today and are now the longest-running owners in its history. Despite being a world-famous tourist spot, the club continues to function primarily as a live music venue. The music policy varies from '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s classic pop music to indie, rock and modern chart music.[citation needed]
On 14 December 1999, former Beatle Paul McCartney returned to the New Cavern Club stage to play his last gig of 1999 publicising his new album, Run Devil Run. The Cavern Club is still open as one of the UK's most famous venues. It has around 40 live bands performing every week; both tribute and original bands, although the majority perform their own material. The back room of the Cavern is the most frequently used location for touring acts and ticketed events, recently playing host to The Wanted, Adele and Jessie J. The venue also plays host to young up-and-coming groups playing original material. The venue has recently outsourced its new music promotions to Jar Music.[citation needed]
The front room of the Cavern is the main tourist attraction, where people come to have their photograph taken on the famous Cavern stage, with the names of the bands who played there written on the back wall. This room hosts live music from 4pm to midnight Monday to Thursday, 12pm to close on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with various acts playing famous songs from the past and present. Between November 2005 and September 2007, the Cavern front room played host to the Cavern Showcase,[6] an organisation and event started by 60s star Kingsize Taylor, his wife Marga, and best friend Wes Paul. The night took place every Sunday and featured original 60s bands such as The Mojos and The Undertakers. The Cavern is also used as a tour warm-up venue with semi-secret gigs announced at the last moment. The Arctic Monkeys did this is in October 2005, as well as many others before them, such as Travis and Oasis.
In November 2008, a campaign to have Gary Glitter's brick removed from the wall of fame was successful, but was noted by a brass plaque erected near where it was. The plaque informs the reader that the bricks of two former Cavern Club performers (Glitter and Jonathan King) have been removed.
The windup number at the Bootleg Beatles celebratory 50th anniversary tour (for 1969, postponed due to Covid from 2019) with the full Liverpool Symphony Orchestra for backing. First half was much of the Let It Be album, but the second was Abbey Road. Every one a classic, and the Edinburgh crowd loved every bit of it.
These guys put absolutely everything into their performance - so if you're old enough to recall the Beatles in their heyday and young enough to enjoy a bit of musical nostalgia served up as they think the original genuine Beatles might have done it - look out for their next date near you. The originals would have had to be on top of their game to surpass the Bootleg version. They're keeping Beatles music available live to an audience that appears to love every bit of it. And - I didn't even need my earplugs!
