Less is more. My kind of beach...

I liked the straight lines and this colour compostion...a colourful palette by mother nature.

Beach of Schiermonnikoog, Wadden Sea, Friesland, The Netherlands.

Such a wide beach...apparently the widest beach in Europe.

In this blue hour I made an abstraction with the patterns, shapes and reflections in a riptide.

doubt grows with conscience

the Golden Gate Bridge in morning fog

From the series "Seadance".

Two cloudscapes in a seascape..

Just a part of the sea.

This morning the moon shines clearly at the beach and reflected in the shallow surf.

And yes, we know it's spring, even when the wind blows and rains and hails are pouring down on us at this moment, it is spring,...I think....

Early in the morning at the beach of Westland, Holland.

Just a piece of the sea.

Patterns and structures on the beach.

Rotkp at the beach

The first light reflects in a rip on the beach..

The flower of Epiphyllum anguliger fills the room with a delicious lemon scent, it opens at night as it is pollinated by moths

After a busy day I didn't manage to get a shot until the light had gone so I picked an acidanthera from my garden and popped it on the light panel.

Apologies for the lack of commenting but life is extra busy just now. I will catch up as soon as I can.

Abstract nature

Reflections on the beach

I really like the scale from whites to blacks here. Reading about the öld" zone-system lately. Such a source of information.
