Garrison awards for excellence and length of service
KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany – On May 24, 2011, the U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern command team presented awards to staff.
The event, held at Armstrong's at Vogelweh Housing area, included musical performances by local teens from Kaiserslautern High School. Special recognition went out to 39 honorees for their length of service, from five to 40 years.
Other awards were presented for excellence in serving Soldiers, civilians and family members in U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern.

Left flower: the crack is visible throughout the entire length of the middle vertical hatchmark; it actually begins halfway up the rightmost vertical engraved line on the petal pointing straight up, and travels down the left side of the carved peak (see arrows). Total length of crack: 7/8".
Joining leaf: the crack is vertical, and begins in the leaf touching the left-hand flower. It is a deep crack, and goes all the way through, following the entire height of the leaf. Total length of crack: 5/16".
Right flower: the crack begins in the carved outline of the petal that's standing straight up, and ends in the right-hand vertical engraved line in the petal pointing downward. The crack curves twice, in a kind of V, and is close in shape to a stylized bird on its side. Total length of crack: ~3/4".

original, fretboard is raised off the top - original. All original - Kluson tuners replaced because two buttons had shrunk - original tuners will be
included.
It has the original case. It does not need revoicing since it’s a post-war F12.
The Prewar F12’s had F4 necks and the fingerboard rested on the top with a louse break angle – actually none.
When they reintroduced them after the war they had F5 necks and raised fingerboard. You could have it revoiced by shaving the inside of the back, where most of the wood is and maybe have someone like Randy Wood do the tone bars, but I think you’d be happy with the sound as is. Plays really nicely.
