This building attracts big money, ones who drives Rolls Royces, Audi R8s and billion-dollar suits of armor.
This is my third version of my LEGO model of the David Stott Building. I built my first model of the Stott in 2006.
I rebuilt it to make is proportions more accurate and to get it closer to Minifig-scale. It is hard to make a LEGO model to an exact scale but it is about 1:48th scale (the previous version was about 1:60 scale). This model of the Stott has a roof height of 8 feet, 11 inches (2.7 meters).
Next to the Stott is my model of the six story 25 State Street (former home of the Colonial Department Store and Cunningham Drugs.
Unfortunately the new David Stott mode is noticeably larger in scale compared to my other three tall LEGO buildings (Fisher, Guardian, and Penobscot) which remain closer to 1:60 scale.
I plan to display this building at the 2021 Brickworld Michigan which is September 25-26 at the Suburban Showcase in Novi.
My LEGO model of Detroit's Penobscot Building. The smaller structure to the right is an official LEGO company set called the Corner Cafe which is available at Lego.com. The Corner Cafe set has inspired a number of builders to create similar companion structures in order to form a complete city street scene. Here is my attempt but I think that the Penobscot isn't quite the right building to go with the Corner Cafe;)
This LEGO skyscraper is my tallest model as of 2008.
Overall height: 11 feet (3.35 meters)
Roof height: 9.5 feet (2.9 meters)
Weight: ~180 pounds (~89 kilograms)
The model breaks down into 12 sections for transport.

Berlin's TV tower stands 368 meters tall in the center of the city, adjacent to the historic Red City Hall and the 700 years old St. Mary's Church.
Both models consist of a combined 4,182 pieces and are built in scale 1:650.
How tall do you guys think this one would be? Chasing One Azure while I wait on more dark bley.

"earn the mask"
This scene is directly based on the Call of Duty Ghosts campaign mission Federation Day, which is focused around stealthy vertical combat while rappelling down a skyscraper in Caracas. It might be my favorite mission in the campaign, when I first played it I somehow saw this scene coming...
Anyway, without doubt this was one of my more ambitious scenes, as the entire setup was built on a 90° angle, which proved to be a challenge itself.
Its that time of year again! The Michigan LEGO User Group has set up its annual LEGO display at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
MichLUG's 50 x 7.5 foot layout is viewable from November 12th, 2022 through January 13th, 2023.
I contributed eight Detroit buildings to the layout (not all are visible in this image):

Models of Detroit buildings created by other MichLUG members include:
Buhl Building
Cadillac Building
Book Building and Tower

The third LEGO skyscraper goes up in Wasabi District! At just over 3 feet tall and over 5000 pieces, this 10-storey building is the first office skyscraper in Wasabi District!
This tower was designed by Adrian Smith in 1999, who later came up with skyscrapers such as the Jin Mao Tower or Burj Khalifa, the highest building in the world. 7 South Dearborn, located in Chicago, would have been the highest building in the world of its time as well. Standing exactly 2000 feet or 610 meters tall, including antennas (which would have been part of the architectural design), it would have surpassed Petronas Towers by more than 150 meters. But the tower was cancelled, obviously, due to financial concerns. Nonetheless, its slender design, forced by the narrow lot, was way ahead of its time; residential buildings grew as tall in New York or Dubai a decade later. 7 South Dearborn's design cues live on in the city, though, through Trump International Hotel and Tower, which is heavily inspired by the tower's proposed facade.
The building consists of 3,526 pieces and is built in scale 1:650.

Getting closer to topping off by adding 2 more floors, but I need to actually start designing and working on the first floor/foundation, as well as the interiors.

I tried to make the rooftop one of the most detailed mechanical / HVAC LEGO layouts out there..

The north tower of my LEGO model of the Guardian Building has now reached the 32nd story of it full the 40 story height. It is currently 6.5 feet (2 meters) high and the eight modular sections currently weight in aggregate 147 pounds (66.8 Kg).
I am now reaching the very detailed top stories. Unfortunately, I have had to simplify the number of brick-built setbacks at this scale. This model has taken far longer than any other LEGO building. Nevertheless I should have it done for this fall's display at the Henry Ford Museum.

On December 21, 2019, I traveled to the Florida State Fairgrounds to visit the Annual Train Show held at the State Fair Grounds. At the show, there were several operating Layouts of various sizes & Gauges, along with Model Trains, Model Cars, Railroad Themed T-Shirts, Hats, Coffee Mugs and various other Memorabilia.
This particular photograph shows a Scale Model Wind Turbine (aka: Electricity Generator, aka: Windmill) at the Train Show at the Florida Fairgrounds.
