I was tempted to pick up little K & give it a spin in the washer then promote it to van mascot sat on my dash board where it could sit in the warmth & look out at the world passing by but no way am I driving round that carpark again trying to find spot to park with all these crazy festive shoppers !! anyway little K probably would have ended up as a mop for spilt coffee on the dash, have your freedom K goodbye little fellow ;-(
Deep into the forests of the region of Värmland in Sweden, lies this well-hidden car cemetery. Hundreds of cars from the 40s, 50s, and 60s are spread out in the area, some of them covered with moss, with trees growing through them, stacked on top of each other or placed side by side. While it has not been confirmed, many of the cars are said to have belonged to the US military who left the autos after World War II.

More from the abandoned houses on Hooper Road in Central, Louisiana. I saw a surveyor's stake, so they probably won't be there much longer.
I'd love to know the story behind this small group of deserted houses, as they are full of belongings that were seemingly abruptly left behind.

This is one of the 124 of 148 picture that Flickr's servers "Ate" for reasons unknown in spring 2023. It took Flickr 3 days and 6 people to get them all back, but the stories with them..my journals and thoughts...were gone forever...
All I have is these pictures to try to remember it all...
I miss my friend Meghan...I miss being on the water with her...just drifting... we were friends and no one ever believed that...
Now she is gone and all I can remember from this lovely image of her and I is her racing down a dock yelling "BOAT! BOAT! BOAT!" as she insisted on buying me one...
I miss my friend so much. I hate those who got jealous of something that never was...so wrecked what was there...
I miss you Megs...very much...
