Tagged male. Semiahmoo. If you look at the duck second from left you can see a geo-tag sticking out from his right wing. I reported this and I received a report that it was tagged near White Rock, British Columbia.

Down to the beach this week for some sports shooting practice. Got a new Canon 70-200L and wanted to test it out at dusk. Not too bad. More sports shots will follow later this week.
A capture in St James Park on the banks of one of the lakes. The trees were in full autumn glory which is one of my favorite times of the year with that yellow, golden orange hues dotted about. The tree was leaning quite a bit to the left and I though about correcting it in the frame but the more I looked at it the more I realised I wanted the lean to become part of the scene. Sometimes the oddity of something being uncorrected makes an image for me.
Taken on yesterday's Trolley Graveyard Photography Workshop with Matthew Christopher's Abandoned America Group.
If you are interested in his photos of abandoned schools, theaters, amusement parks, etc, or trips he leads to amazing decaying places with permission of the owners in the Mid-Atlantic region, check out his website here: www.abandonedamerica.us
New England Central GP38 #3852 leads its train west across the bridge over Swan Creek on the very western edge of Saginaw, back in 2011. The Mid Michigan RR was using the 3852 on this day, which I've been told was one of the better units they'd get from the Huron & Eastern. 3852 became HESR 2027 after the G&W merger and left the property in 2017.

What a beautiful day it has been. Harvesting of the grapes was going on all over the valley today. I made a quick run up to Delano and took my camera with me. Stopped along side of the road for a quick shot of the grapevines but the one I chose had already been harvested. This lonely grape bunch was all I could find.
