This week I have chosen to experiment with my lens and depth-of-field to see the outcome. This shot in particular plays with colour and focus which was my primary trial. What I really like about the outcome of the photograph is how the background blends together seamlessly and has a painted style to it. I'm normally not one to like an image to have such a shallow DOF but in this case I do think it works quite nicely.
