CSX M301 Rounds the curve into North Carolina during the spectacular fall foliage near Pleasant Hill, NC.
Captured this image as the great blue heron was leaving the nest. During the nesting season they are very busy. The are busy bringing home nesting material or food for their young. The herons are awesome parents and work together to build their future !!

The George Gate of course a focal point of many in the old town of Dresden. Here a photo attempt the view through Georgentor on the stable yard over to the Frauenkirche.
I stand here exactly under the Georgentor you can not see it therefore. It was exhausting to keep this place free at this time here. There should be two! For the children there was ice cream, demanding adults got beer. No the Dresdeners were very very nice and accommodating.

I'm always sad to see fall receding into the past. It's such a wonderful time of the year.
Pete's tail is like a giant broom. It picks up all kinds of things along our rides, this time a few fallen leaves.
