My buddy Shane hit me up and asked me if I wanted to go take photos while he hit the new motocross track down at Pacific Raceways. So of course I agreed.

I used to ride motocross and race a little bit. I sold my bike last year and I really miss it. Riding was so fun and had so many memories of all the riding trips and places I went with friends.

Pacific Raceways shut down their mxtrack a few years ago and this weekend was the first weekend it has been opened again. Except it's a new track than what was there before and from what all the riders were saying, definitely not as good as the old one. It wasn't really photo worthy because it didn't have any big jumps or good corners. Plus I got kicked off the track after like five minutes.

The street bike track was sorta by the mx track so I walked over there and snapped some shots of those crazy dudes. Although they are both motorcycle racing, the type of racing and technique is way different. Here they are both leaned over like crazy though. One dragging knee over a long wide corner, and the only scrubbing the top of a roller.

Originally shot in color, I converted this to black and white. Seemed to work better for this picture

I know this may seem like just another looking up under the petals picture. I just couldn't help it. I love this perspective so much!
