This little shack is really wild. Its has been beaten and battered by the relentless winds coming off the front range mountains. Usually, little gems like this I like to move out and about; explore and snoop around if you will.

Wasn't even willing to stick my head inside the front of this. It is seriously a stone's throw away from tumbling to the ground!

Processing notes: All these abandonded barns I see remind me of the 50's/ early 60's for some reason. So I wanted to make sure to add a yellowish/blue tint to the image. A common color cast from film processing back in that time. Hurray vintage!

Don’t get me wrong. I love winter, rather I tolerate winter. It’s not so much the cold but the drab nature of the season. The dirty snow on the boulevards and those grey cloudy days. Depressing. It’s the hardest time of year, at least for me, to find interesting subject matter to photograph. Inevitably I return to my favorite haunts (no pun intended) the local graveyards. Here I can walk and just take in the ever changing quiet beauty.These two headstone always catch my eye and imagination. Did these long gone souls know each other in life? Is that why they now support each other ?
