Natural beauty on a macro level...
A close up of the astounding patterns and colors of a Knotweed leaf. I am amazed at the beauty of the earth!

For Macro Mondays
This week's theme: Leaf
This little leaf (less than an inch at it's longest point) blew onto our deck during a rainstorm and landed on one of our chairs out there. So SOOC except for the square crop.

When I snapped this picture the camera exposed for the leaf which was backlit by bright mid-morning sunshine. Apparently when it did that almost everything else in the frame was too underexposed to show up in the image. Happy Macro Mondays everyone. Thank you for stopping by to look, like, and maybe leaving a comment. The leaf is about 40mm tip to stem.
