Only in Uppsala, you'll find a sign like this. It says "Lead your bike", as if you should go biking up on the train at the station... but here you'llnever know!

In 2008, Laws Stained Glass Studios installed (6) opalescent glass windows at Campbells Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach, VA. The five main windows (size 28" wide x 54" high) each had a 12" round Biblical scene and a memorial plate as well as the one smaller window (size 28" wide x 46" high).

The church had existing wood frame windows with wood sashes. Laws began the installation by removing the wood sashes and covering the outside wood frame with aluminum flashing. Laws set the new leaded glass windows on the inside. On the exterior, 1/4" Lucite acrylic was installed as the protective covering.

USAID and the Government of Laos are working together to create a future-ready education system. Today, USAID and the Ministry of Education and Sports launched a new three-year Laos Higher Education for Accelerated Development (LEAD) program.

Funded by USAID, LEAD focuses on advancing higher education to meet market demands and support socio-economic progress. Through initiatives like modernizing academic programs, enhancing workforce skills, providing scholarships and exchanges, and improving English language proficiency, the collaboration aims to equip students with the tools they need to succeed in an evolving job market.
