Spring is Here! =)
I don't have dedicated macro lens (yet), so I've given a try to my 18-35 G UWA lens.
Another shot - in this case by the wide angle lens - from the muddy and steep mountain-side. "Macro" experiment #2
"Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby." Langston Hughes.
The 3 people in the background are subsistence fishermen who pump cracker shrimps for a living.
You can (as anglers with a permit), either pump your own shrimps on the sand banks once the tide has gone out, or purchase what they call a "parcel" from these guys.
Cracker shrimps are used as bait, btw, definitely not for human consumption :)
Surprisingly, there aren't hoards of seagulls pestering them. They arrive in their masses and snatch any left over cracker shrimps before they can bury themselves in the sand again.

Thanks so much for visiting :)
I never realized the lead plant blooms. The color on both foliage and flowers was quite nice but I suspect that won't last. In between gusts of wind I got this shot which includes a bit of the foliage.
And its another plant with the nickname "indigo" - downy indigo bush. plants.usda.gov/factsheet/pdf/fs_amca6.pdf

Stary Browar Park
This was an exceptionally beautiful morning here in Poznan. Very foggy in the early parts only to have the fog break later and all of this gorgeous light pour through. Although already late to work and I should probably be following their lead and race to where I need to be, I am caught in the moment and continue to shoot for a bit...this was one of the last shots before I reluctantly made my way to start the day..............somehow I forgot to post this earlier. Enjoy.

Here you can see how early car manufacturers used lead (instead of Bondo) to fill in roof joints. Notice how sanding (file) marks are still present in the lead. More importantly, just how thick the early paint jobs had to be to cover these scratches up.
