These were the ladies who took care of the Catholic Church in Louwsburg, South Africa where my niece was married last March. We'd stopped in to see the church a few days before the ceremony only to discover that the roof had been fixed and it had received a new coat of paint. The Bishop of Durban would be performing the ceremony and all the stops were pulled out to prepare this little church for his arrival and the big day. As we were leaving, my husband struck up a conversation with them. I'm not sure what they were talking about, as the conversation took place in zulu, but these ladies thought he was hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. Their laughter was infectious to say the least!
This clown face makes me laugh all the time, along with her crazy antics!! Laughter truly is good for the soul!

July Milwaukee Stobist meetup. Many thanks to Cory and Kevin and the folks at
Direct Supply, Inc. for letting us use the space. But mostly thanks to Allison for the time. I think you will all agree she makes quite a muse.

for the Jaunary 2014 design challenge. I had an idea for a simple design that'd fit the theme, so I went with it. :)

As we head to a new year, let there be peace, love, tolerance, respect and laughter; talk only when we have pleasant things to say; act only when we have good deeds to do; see beyond flaws and sense the character with our fellow humans. Let race, country, religion or any other divide not come in our way to help those who are in need.
Wish you all a very happy and safe New Year!
Interacting with people you photograph come natural to some, but practicing to make that connection is always an important part
