So this week I caught all up with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. by watching Season 3 on Netflix, and I gotta say, I enjoyed it! Now it's not that great of a show, but it was pretty good for what it was. I was especially hooked with that episode with Simmons on the planet, that was cool.
Now I thought one of the standout characters of Season 3 was Lash. I really liked his story arch throughout the season, so I wanted to make him in Lego! I really want to make Hive with how he appeared in the show because his look was badass, but it's gonna be tough and I want to take my time with that one. I hope you enjoy this figure!
CP 8931 and CP 9700 have just been lashed up, formerly CP 9700 was the DPU on CP 112, as the power leaves an intermodal portion of the train behind.
Unable to resist the lure of a Guardian five star review for the new Bat For Lashes album Fur and Gold , I found myself in the Komedia. As I didn’t want to bonk people on the head with my camera I only took a few photos at the end and ended up missing countless fantastic photo opportunities. However I was happy just to watch the mesmerising show. This was the very last shot I took and I managed to get the entire band in. Loretta and Rebecca you missed a blinder of a show.
A young boy with the most fascinating eyelashes I think I've ever seen. Taken at a daycare centre I was invited into in Seminyak, Bali, Indonesia
I am loving the fact that this little duckling has very long eyelashes and looks just like a girl.... all she needs is a little bow on her head lol

::...and then LR4 reloaded a whole ton of things and it zapped all of my really smart words. Now, this is here, and I'm sorry.::

So wish I still had whatever I had written back then!
What's different - the big one is that I'm a mama now (writing this on Mother's day gets in the bones, I think). It's been a transforming experience for me. I've also quit my day job and am working toward making the photo biz bigger and bigger. So that's pretty awesome. Am I more settled in my skin now than I was then? Sometimes. Sometimes, sometimes. I think that's an ongoing process/struggle.
to do my make upI used the Stila pallet

i found the lash shadows to be neat. for this i stared into the sun for ~10 minutes experimenting. chalk that up on the list of not-so-smart-moves-by-kaija.
it's a long list.

So I got a new ring light over the weekend and thought capturing the eye lashes of my sleeping brother would be a perfect subject.
