This is Blackie who is 16 years old and for the first time in her whole life climbed onto Bethan's lap tonight , just thought I'd share the moment !

Kaiser usually settles on Astrida's lap . Just recently Henry jumps up on the lap too and settles on top of Kaiser. He is very light and Kaiser just puts up with it. Maybe Henry is using him as a cushion.

Lap An Lagoon is located next to National Highway 1A. Passing through Lang Co town, Phu Loc district, Thua Thien – Hue province, Vietnam. About 60 km southeast of Hue city center and about 30 km northwest of Da Nang city.
This is the largest brackish water lagoon in Hue with an area of up to 800 hectares. Because it is quite far from the city center. The scenery here is still wild and full of mystery, urging people to be curious to explore.
With a landscape so beautiful that it sometimes makes visitors “freeze”, Lap An lagoon is the dreamy “Tuyet Tinh Coc” of Hue. And of course, not only does it attract young people in Hue. It is also a favorite destination for tourists from all over.
Lap An lagoon has an area of about 71 km2. The lake is made up of rivers, streams and bays, so the water here will be brackish water, suitable for growing many different species. Therefore, the plant system of Lap An lagoon is very diverse, with up to 8 types of sediment appearing corresponding to 8 different types of environments appearing in the lagoon.
In fact, it was originally called Stork Village Dam because the ecosystem around the lagoon is very rich, attracting many flocks of storks to live and reside. During the French colonial period, the French called this lagoon as “Lang Co”. After peace was restored, the new lagoon was renamed Lap An lagoon.

Lap rail fence, old barbed wire, and vintage electric fence on the perimeter of our home. We love the old fence and will only replace what must be replaced to keep it up.
Last week we started to become concerned about Sally.
I had taken her back to the vets about a week after all the cats were at the studio. She has a slight cough, and I wanted t o make sure she wasn't experiencing any latent symptoms from the smoke.
Her lungs were fine, but they thought she might be fighting some kind of upper respratory irritation, and gave her a 2 week antibiotic shot.
After another week or so, Nancy noticed that she didn't seem to be eating or drinking and had lost a considerable amount of weight.
I was too sick to get to her for a few days, but as soon as I examined her, I took her right back to the vet.
She was back to being just about as skinny as when I first found her! It was alarming.
They ran blood work, took ex-rays, and gave her the once over. Although she had lost significant weight, she was still in good health.
They gave her some fluids and gave me an appetite stimulant to give her.
Larry and I decided to bring her back to the apt. so we could keep a closer eye on her.
She seemed to perk up almost right away!
She's simply THRILLED to be around Larry, and follows him everywhere.
I was afraid the puppy would add extra stress on her, but she isn't even phased!
She seems relaxed and happy, and the good news is she's starting to nibble on her food and drink more.
