She literally sits on my lap at work ALL DAY.

O made me a "last lap" prize. I have 13 weeks left, which is 1/4 of the total time. Its like running a mile, and coming into your last lap. I can see the finish. I can feel the finish. This all will be over soon. Three months doesn't seem like a short time, but considering I've been doing this for 14 months, it is pretty doable.

I bought the bull nose tile at home depot today (about $5)

The two pieces of film you see are 3 and 1 um grit

The purple film is 3um

green film is 1um

You spray the tile with water and lie the film on top and lap the razor normally as you would with any type of hone, edge leading

So far, I have honed one razor and I consider it a success. I first dulled the edge on glass then created a fresh bevel using one of my coticules doing sets of 1/2 strokes finishing with x strokes until I felt it was done,

then I took it to the 3um for at least 60 + laps

then onto the 1um for another 60 + laps, then I placed a sheet of copy paper under the 1 um film and did 40 more laps to finish, stropped then shaved with that edge

it has promise yet the edge needs further refinement IMO...it's still a little rough yet cuts wonderfully

Anopther bonus is the length of this fim and tile...the sheets of film I cut are 3" X 9", so I have a 9" stroke, vs. a 6" stroke I use on most of my coticules...I like the longer length there is to hone

I kept the surface of the sheets covered in water applied with a spray bottle..I also used a small amount of liquid dish detergent on top of the film for more glide and cushion. This system has promise
