I used my the "Portrait" setting on my camera for the first time. I don't know why I didn't ever try it before. I like the results I got.

One Red Sock applique lap quilt, 50" x 50". Starts in one corner with a pair of dark red socks and finishes in the opposite corner with light pink shorts. The shades of red vary from dark burgundy to red to hot pink to shell pink. The offending sock’s apology and a remark from a now red pair of socks are hand embroidered. The rest of the laundry, the clothespins and the clothesline are machine appliqued. This 25 patch quilt has a 5 ½” yellow border, and measures 50” x 50”.
