I think I really like the name Swamp Lantern. In Colorado, what is called skunk cabbage is Veratrum californicum, which springs up to 6 feet high in spots. It's a very different plant.

After searching in vain through my attic for an old Coleman camping lantern for this week's "Lantern" theme, I figured I would take a pass on this week's Flickr Friday. Then I went to lunch at the Wicker Crab Pot in Chesapeake. What did they have as a decoration in the Men's Room?? A lantern on a wicker table!!!

One from an evening with my camera club at Tynemouth. Loved the light hitting the metal in the lantern, the diagonal line of the fence and the colours in the sky. Such a simple view, but beautiful.
