The Moselle valley has completely disappeared in the fog - only the Reichsburg Cochem looks out!
Die Schmalspurbahn von Lüttmoorsiel zu der Hallig Nordstrandischmoor versorgt die dort lebenden Familien mit allem notwendigen, jede Familie besitzt eine eigene kleine Lore. Die Lore im Bild wird allerdings vom Landesbetrieb für Küstenschutz betrieben um Baumaterialien zu der Hallig zu bringen.
The narrow-gauge railroad from Lüttmoorsiel to the Hallig Nordstrandischmoor supplies the families living there with everything they need; each family has its own small lorry. The lorry in the picture, however, is operated by the State Office for Coastal Protection to bring building materials to the Hallig.
Das nächste Bild ist kurz vor Sonnenaufgang während gerade ein Transportschiff entlang am Rhein fährt. Diese schöne Lichtstimmung wollte ich einfangen. Viel Spaß beim betrachten.

Die alte Burgruine steht auf einem noch sehr viel älteren Vulkanschlot und rundherum schmiegt sich das kleine malerische Dorf Falkenstein an den steilen Berghang.
The old castle ruin stands on a much older volcanic chimney and around it the small picturesque village of Falkenstein nestles on the steep mountain slope.
