'Land of Kings' - 'Schloß Neuschwanstein' - [Special Series: 'Colors Of Our World'.. ]

The country glows in the late sun, it´s autumn in Bavaria. If you have avoided parking spaces and when you walk on foot in the world and some time for you to have packed in your backpack, then you can with your own eyes see what others know than from a movie.

I look over at the castle, and as I walk I begin to dream with open eyes.. Another year is coming to an end.. I would no longer be able to see this great colors, but next year I come back very determined! Bye bye 'Neuschwanstein'!

'Lake Froggen' (German: 'Froggensee') reflections and one of the most wonderful buildings in the world 'Neuschwanstein Castle' (German: 'Schloß Neuschwanstein') the Castel from the fairytale 'King Ludwig II'. The Castle is a 19th-century Bavarian palace on a rugged hill.

'Just Sail Away'

Again, it has long been already evening, the wind is blowing steadily, the light is pleasant, the view is good, quiet water, a sufficient supply of food on board is a good feeling. There it is again the dream of the sailors.. Just back from the far stranger.. 'Mama I'm coming home'! Back home from all over the world and the wind carries us as ordered..

But no sooner arrived home, he brings us again, like a monster that wants to move us, it is spreading.. the reputation of the distance is not to be ignored and we follow him again and just sailing far away..

Allow yourself to dream your dreams too! ;-)

- Er hat seinen Platz gefunden und verteidigt ihn gegen fast jeden Eindringling seiner Gattung! Leider steht er mit seiner Gefiederfärbung in der Hierachie seiner Gattung nicht im höchsten Rang und weicht freiwillig wenn sich ein dunkelgefärbtes Männchen nähert. -

Still blinded by the length of a beautiful sunset on the lake, I simply observe just sit here on the 'Lake Starnberg' near Munich and let the world around me.. turn Some people go past me.. I hear them speak .. have a bother with the past, others who see only the next night..

I perceive what you have left to report the transient voices and then remember that there can be no darkness without light! Whether people are oriented to the darkness once felt blinded by the light, light that shines brightly in the world than they themselves do it.. Her belief that darkness is real and permanent? So I know if I should catch me, I once again into the darkness, then there is only one for me: 'Move Yourself Into Light'! ;-)

Der Gillenbach - Wasserfall bei Trier

In a small side valley of the Moselle near Trier is this picturesque waterfall, which can only be seen after heavy rain.

In einem kleinen Seitental der Mosel bei Trier ist dieser malerische Wasserfall, der jedoch nur nach starkem Regen so zu sehen ist.

Most landscape photos are likely to be wide-angle shots, but it's also worth taking telephoto shots. When I travel I always have my 70-200 with me and like in this photo together with the 2x teleconverter you get completely different compressed sections and abstract views. The "elephant skin" of the rocks in the foreground harmonizes wonderfully with the sandy tones of the Bad Water Basin in the background. This photo was taken early in the morning in Death Valley from Zabriskie Point. It was the second time I visited Death Valley (way back in the 80s) and I've been fascinated by this unique landscape ever since...

Die meisten Landschaftsfotos sind wohl Weitwinkelaufnahmen, doch es lohnt sich auch, Teleaufnahmen zu machen. Bei Reisen habe ich immer mein 70-200er im Gepäck und wie in diesem Foto zusammen mit dem 2-fach Telekonverter erhält man ganz andere komprimierte Aussschnitte und abstrakte Ansichten. Die "Elefantenhaut" der Felsen im Vordergrund harmoniert wunderbar mit den Sandtönen des Bad Water Basins im Hintergrund. Diese Aufnahme entstand am frühen Morgen im Death Valley vom Zabriskie Point aus. Es war das zweite Mal, dass ich das Death Valley besucht habe (lange zurück in den 80ern) und seitdem fasziniert mich diese einzigartige Landschaft...

'Missed Days In Life'

Keep quiet for one minute.. I thought to myself.. No event is missed, many people have run to wherever all. They travel the supposedly most beautiful places in the world and yet they were never really there. You see everything what you told them .. what one would have to see .. quickly to photograph them all and they have been on again.. Next there where they just bring .. there of which one it says would be very nice there.. Of the many beautiful places where they have been carelessly walked past they know nothing. They prefer to wait for them, someone told in a magazine, where it would be nice.. These are the days that you experience when you'd been getting up looking through a frosted glass..

I think that whoever has learned to stay something, the place where he is currently feeling and let into his heart, they will not 'Miss Days In Life'. He'll find his front door that scan other people around the world. - Here you see a simple pic of 'Lake Starnberg' near Munich. ;-)

Am 17.3.2025 war 218 429 mit dem RE 3065 auf der Fahrt von Basel Bad Bf nach Ulm Hbf. Zwischen Salem Neufrach und Bermatingen konnte der lokbespannte Wendezug im allerletzten Abendlicht beim lautstarken Erklimmen der Salemer Rampe abgelichtet werden...

'Slowly Dying Daylight' - [Special Series: 'Sometimes The World Is Red'.. ]

All day today the sun has hidden behind dark rain clouds. For many hours does the world as if you had just stopped on the earth the time.. only the brightness of light changed einwenig.. nothing else.. Beautiful it is there when the warm sun by the end of the day can look short.. almost as if to say to us: 'And tomorrow I'll be back! " ;-)

It begins with the sunset after all, although with weak.. but no less beautiful colors spread out over the lake. It is cold in Bavaria.. Armed with my photo and a warm winter coat I am now totally alone here. I'm glad, because I can no longer be here and have a fantastic rest of the lake effect on me, which spread like a huge veil over the lake.

I think of the beautiful warm evenings, which will soon fall for about us and I am looking forward to be packed thick to sit by the river.. have grown up in the sky the stars..

But now I enjoy only once, that what nature gives me the straight and I am pleased with what all is happening before my eyes.. it is not spectacular.. rather simple.. and yet beautiful to see the likes it!

'The Desire For Loud Stillness' - [Special Series: 'Sometimes The World Is Blue' .. ]

If you are the fantastic play of colors are blue hour with your own eyes, when you simply sit down and once you give some time. You'll be surprised how loud the silence is that you can hear. Since the wind is singing his songs.. he wears dusty far away from you with a hiss.. The leaves rustle in the tall trees.. as a well-rehearsed orchestra.. Birds are chirping happily to herself.. rustling in the thicket behind you and crack it.. Rhythmic and gentle waves lapping the shore and to the posts of the bridge.. Everywhere tones, sounds, listen to the music of nature are.. I love it again and again to take me some time to do nothing more than to just sit there.. to feel where I am .. hear what I hear.. see what there is to see straight.. and feel like the deep blue world around me alive.. and.. I think to myself:

'Sometimes The World Is Blue'.. sometimes I want to do then just a photo.   ;-))
